And there you have it. The Wisdom Statements are like having a contract with yourself. A very very good idea.

As for allowing God to do what He does best, well, that's the HARDEST thing for most people TO do.

You have, finally, truly given yourself to God now.

People forget that God never promised that giving yourself to Him would lead to everlasting happiness RIGHT NOW. Just because you have, doesn't mean your life will be sunshine and rainbows from here on out. In fact, it may even be MORE difficult, depending on the lessons you need. But that's what God is for, to provide you with what you need when you need it, and He will, even if it is as simple as an unintended detour, a smile from a stranger, or a cool breeze. Therein the everyday miracle.

Enjoy your new life my friend.

While reading this, I had the most bizarre thought.

I have a "friend" who is mired in all kinds of psychological buffoonery that she puts herself through, and despite the best attempts by those around her to help her find a way to learn to cope with her situations, fix the issues she's having, etc. she takes baby steps, then loses entire pathways of progress because of nonsense she just can't quit doing. Most of us have decided she has an addictive behaviour pattern going on.

I'd love to see her try something like this. Not that I could get her to, I've suggested other such things and she shoots them down entirely.

The bizarre thought I had was that I realized if/when I ever have you to visit, this friend of mine will be exposed to you quite often. Now no offense (LOL) but you have a way about you, a way of not taking no for an answer, of getting right into someone's psyche and making them face their truths. It would/will be very interesting to see the two of you (both Cancers) butting heads. It might actually help her.

I've heard of this too, both ways, positive and negative, and I believe I have seen reference to a similar Smile Experiment. I even remember something about someone doing an Anger Experiment in the same fashion (which got them injured-LOL).

YES!! You get it! It is impossible to grow without pain! That is the toughest lesson there is, in some ways. Our Marine friends say, "Pain is weakness leaving the body." Perhaps it is childishness (as opposed to childlikeness, as you know!) leaving the spirit? We all have to learn this. When we learn to roll with the pain--not to run from it or fight it, then things start happening. The most dangerous prayer to pray is,"LORD, change me." It is a guaranteed "yes" answer, so don't pray it if you don't mean it!

I hazza prowd ob yoo, my siter!
Love you lots, and GOD bless you exceedingly abundantly above all you can ask or think! --janey

That's a lovely idea, <strong>elainet</strong>, but I have already made other arrangements for my physical self...I chose to put the pink dot on my driver's license, and thank you for the opportunity to remind everyone:

"<em>Don't take your organs to heaven, heaven knows we need them here.</em>"

As for what is left over, I hope it will be made to good humanitarian/scientific use.

There is an alternative to the worms and oblivion, Kafleen. It would be a blessing to the land if you plan to have your ashes spread over the green earth, to nourish the beauty that will come after, to bless all you leave behind who will see it. Then you will not be lost to each other...
